The lodge has been carefully designed and constructed - largely by the owner himself - using natural and local materials. Spacious timber cottages are dotted around the towering canopy of the forest and provide a homely camping feel, and the open-plan lounge, restaurant and bar all offer wonderful views.
Chris, the friendly manager will greet you with a warm smile and will be happy to attend to your every need, from ensuring the chef prepares a meal to suit all taste buds to organising a forest walk. The forest itself is home to a large array of birds, butterflies, insects and primates - if you want to feel like Tarzan, come and visit Mabira Rainforest Lodge!

Late check-out is flexible depending on demand.
Policy on children staying with parents:
- Children are welcome!
- Children aged 5 years and beloware free.
- Children between the ages of 5-12 years are charged 50% of the adult rate.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30% deposit in order to secure your booking
- Balance to be paid 15 days before the date of your stay
- Any bookings made less than 15 days before your arrival date need to be made in full at the time of booking.
- Any cancellations made more than 15 days before the date of arrival incur a fee of 50% of your deposit.
- 8-15 days - a cancellation fee of 50%
- 0-7 days - a cancellation fee of 100%
