Kayak the Nile are based at Nile River Explorers campsite, Bujagali Falls. This is 8km downstream from the source of the Nile. This location offers flat pools and small rapids which are an ideal location for families with small children.
This trip departs early in the morning, giving you the opportunity to see a spectacular sunrise over Lake Victoria, as well as the source of the renowned mighty Nile. This short trip takes place before the full day River Rafting or Tandem Kayaking activities.
Jinja lies approximately 80km east of Kampala, and overlooks the ‘Source of the Nile'. Despite being one of Uganda's larger towns, Jinja remains a pleasant and breezy place to spend some time. It is fast becoming renowned as the ‘adventure capital' of East Africa, and people flock here to bungee jump and experience the roaring white water rapids on rafting, kayaking, and even jet boat tours!
