The resort is becoming increasingly popular, thanks to its cosy ambience and the variety of activities on offer. Traditional thatched bandas are clustered around a trio of connected swimming pools, and the lush gardens lead down to the shores of Lake Victoria. From here, guests can take a boat or fishing excursion, or relax and listen to the birds and wildlife - if you're lucky you may spot a fish otter.
There is a children's playground to keep youngsters amused and the shuttle which runs between the resort and Jinja Town passes a golf course, health club and tennis and squash courts.
Complimentary morning tea is provided for early risers wishing to watch the sun come up over the lake and the owner is so enthusiastic about this, he is even thinking about introducing a drum beat ‘alarm call' on mornings when the sunrise is particularly worth getting up for!
