This 2-hour trip paddles past the Source of the Nile and Ghandis memorial. It's a great trip for children, the keen birdwatcher, or groups wishing to partake in a relaxed activity. Kayak the Nile are based at Nile River Explorers campsite, Bujagali Falls, Jinja. This is 8km downstream from the source of the Nile.
Jinja lies approximately 80km east of Kampala, and overlooks the ‘Source of the Nile'. Despite being one of Uganda's larger towns, Jinja remains a pleasant and breezy place to spend some time.
