This full day adventure takes it nice and easy, meandering through flat pools and stunning jungle islands. En route, we stop for a deli style lunch on one of the many beaches. Drifting through pools and small currents, you will have the chance to swim or trail a fishing rod behind you.
There are two options to take, both of which take a full day. One is a 7km easy cruise and the other is a 15km adventurous cruise.
Jinja lies approximately 80km east of Kampala, and overlooks the ‘Source of the Nile'. Despite being one of Uganda's larger towns, Jinja remains a pleasant and breezy place to spend some time. It is fast becoming renowned as the ‘adventure capital' of East Africa, and people flock here to bungee jump and experience the roaring white water rapids on rafting, kayaking, and even jet boat tours!
